My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
This week, we should give thanks to God because many joyful things are happening in our Patriarchate.
Recently, I had the great joy of appointing Fra. Jose Costa, of the Province of Macaonensis, as the Grand Commander of the Most Venerable Sovereign Order of St. Cyril of the Holy China.
Additionally, I am also conferring upon Fra. Costa the title of Honorary Canon, as he is now an Honorary Member of the Patriarchate Chapter of the Cathedral of St. Cyril.
A few days ago, I decided to establish a new administrative district in Korea and Japan, and the name of the new administrative district will be the "Territorial Prelature of Goryeo and Nippon", in which I will take up the position of Prelate.
About a week later, I will begin my Patriarchal journey to Rome and the Vatican City. Please keep me in your prayers as it will be my first time travelling to Rome and the Vatican City.
